Lovely Oasis Pool Gym Wi-Fi Free Parking

Untrustworthy Host. My son had a medical emergency on day 3 of 15. The host called me(> 3 times) to confirm that my son was the 2nd guest in the apartment but denied knowing/telling me what was going on at the time(the EMS had to inform me hours later). My son ended up hospitalized and still is on today. On day 7, while still not staying at the apartment, I asked for a refund for the remaining days, being that I was at the hospital with my son, and I received no response. This host showed no compassion for this unexpected circumstance, nor did anyone reach out, as of today, to see how he's doing

In the beginning of this entire trip, I was very patient and was understanding of the fact that the cleaners may have needed more time. Speaking with Emmanuel, he informed me that the cleaner took the key with her and she is making her way back to the unit. It started with, "she'll be there in 10 minutes" and then after 15 minutes, he said she was on her way still. First of all, I do not understand why the cleaner would "take the key with her". We stood and waited in the 100 degree heat for another 10 minutes, she never showed and the only response from Emmanuel was "she is on her way". The conversation with Emmanuel to get into the parking structure, was to follow any car the opened the garage. There are clearly posted signage NOT TO DO THAT. He then also informed us to follow any person that was going into the building in. These, for one, are very unprofessional directions to give a guest staying with you. And second, agasint all the rules posted multiple times all over the building. By the time I found my way into the building and into the apartment AN HOUR LATER; which was unlocked and completely open. The key was on the kitchen counter, NOT with the cleaner. The cleaner did however peak her head into the unit after I found my way in, her comment was "oh you let yourself in, oh kay". Yes, I let myself in. First it's a self check in apartment; second I had find my own way into the complex; and third, the unit was OPEN, anyone could've been in there. When asked about what kind of compensation we were going to receive for this very inconvenient, unhelpful service, Emmanuel was only able to say that we could have late check out. That is unacceptable. I asked that the cleaning fee be waived, as the cleaners were the first cause to this issue. Emmanuel said that he could not help in this situation.
