Hotel & Rooftop King Experience by David

The property looks as pictured and is well maintained. The location is very convenient for the travelers looking to explore Quito historic district. Because of the layout of the rooms towards the interior yard, street noise is not present. This I found to be important as other places could suffer from street noise until late at night. The breakfast options are good and tasty. Dinner or a drink can be enjoyed at the roof top bar, which was very convenient for us.

The breakfast was nice

They didn't give me a room with a bath which I paid for or respond to my enquiries about it. The room stank of sewerage. The staff were elusive about information at check in and there was no welcome drink which they advertised. They were playing bangers at 10am loudly through the hotel. Don't expect a rest or a sleep in during the day here. Strange place. No hand towels or bathmats either. They are keen to flog tours but not helpful at all with anything else.

Virkelig godt hotel. Vi havde fået et virkelig stort og lækkert værelse. Med et kæmpe badekar 😍 Meget tæt på historisk bydel. Flink personale.

Der er en lidt dårlig lugt fra badeværelset. Wifi kan drille lidt. Nogle gange vil det ikke vise en side.

- The colonial style is unique and it really represents the Ecuadorian colonial culture. - The staff was always willing to help and support, also providing guidance at anytime. - The rooftop of the place has a great view of important locations in Ecuador, such as El Panecillo, and the Basilica.

- The food was good, not superb. There were very few options to choose from. As for instance how eggs are cooked, or which beverage you would like to drink. - The location is good but it also has a issue. The south area (near the Historical center), most business close about 6pm. Then is not recommended to go out (walking) after 6pm, whereas in the north the same thing happens after 9pm. - In particular the room where we stayed, it had a forced door with a simple lock. This was not nice, and make ourself wonder what happened and if somebody could hear or have access to the room.

Ropa de cama y toallas muy usadas. Falta de armarios con perchas. No hay servicio de TV, solo netflix y youtube

breakfast was really good and made to order. Beds are very comforable and staff is very friendly and helpful. I emailed the property to ask some questions and they answered back right away. The also arrange a driver to pick us up at the airport and also drive us to our final destination with no problems at all. This was our thrid stay at this hotel

L'hotel è centrale, ma in una strada un po' buia. La guida che ci ha accompagnato a fare il tour di Quito ci ha consigliato di tornare in taxi dopo cena. In realtà siamo tornati a piedi e non è successo nulla, però non ero tranquilla. Tra l'altro, per entrare bisogna suonare perché l'accesso è tramite un portone che viene chiuso ( anche di giorno). Alla reception personale gentile, ma l'inglese non è diffuso. Camera e bagno grandi

L'arredamento è "particolare". Non c'era cassetta di sicurezza, mancava il sapone nei dispenser, ci hanno tolto gli asciugamani sporchi e non ci hanno messo quelli puliti, niente acqua in camera. Colazione scarsa

Todo, desde las instalaciones hasta el trato de los encargados. El lugar muy limpio y cuidado.

The location is amazing, the staff is super friendly and the rooms are spacious! Great value too

Nothing much to complain about honestly. Except maybe that there was an issue with the door and it wouldn't lock. We informed the receptionist and they reassured us that it's safe because there are cameras and staff 24/7 at the property. Also on a smaller note the only window of the room was in the bathroom so had to keep the door open to keep fresh air in the room. Other than that it was great!
