Charming rustic getaway in Xaghra, Gozo.

Lovely atmospheric building, close to town centre, close to bus stops, very easy to visit citadel city Rabat & the Giagantia temples from here.

Everything was great.

Gozo has its charm, great for walking, lovely views all around, loved taking pictures of old dwellings facades. I am grateful that I found a place which allow big dogs as well. They too enjoyed the long walks.

I am not a fuss pot, so if one is looking for a basic stay, this little place is still comfy.

Place was clean, cosy and close to most amenities. Place was generally well kept and maintained. Host kept quick communication with us when needed.

Some minor attention to plumbing fixtures in bathroom is required, due to wear and tear. Furniture is a bit dated; upgrade will make place more attractive.

Excellent location in a nice town ideal for exploring Gozo. Parking in the street was no trouble.

No good way to ventilate the apartment. The only thing that separates you from the street is a garage pvc door, so anytime a car passes by or a dog barks, it feels like being outside. Earplugs are needed to sleep. The fridge is also pretty loud, and there is no door to separate the kitchen from the bedroom. Fournitures are quite old and cupboards smelly. There was a mouse pooping everywhere in the apartment. I checked out earlier, and the owner agreed to refund the unused nights. I will let him give an update on the mouse the situation in the comment

Had everything we needed for our stay. Cosy sitting room with a selection of books. Kitchen well equipped. Comfortable bed and bedding. Hot shower. Clean throughout. We were able to check in at any time via easy self check in process. Good WiFi. Bus stop at the end of the street. Really liked the choice of lighting in the rooms.

Just a suggestion to put a towel rail or hook by the shower. A TV would have been nice.
