"Wrong keys given to the property then ignored and left stranded at night!!!"

Nothing to like as I couldn't get access into the property and was left stranded with nowhere else to go and the host turned off their phone so I would not disturb them.

I was initially meant to arrive in Enfield early, the host agreed for an early check in but due to change of plans and traffic I wasn't able to check in until 11.30pm, the host was made aware and was happy with this. On arrival I couldn't get into the lock box, called the host at 11.30pm who informed me it was actually a different lock box to the one stated in the email, I apologised for disturbing him so late and put down the phone. The keys let me into the building itself but they were the wrong keys to the apartment, the key wouldn't even turn in the door, sent a message to the host and was ignored, sent a video of key not working and once again ignored, tried calling and no answer, tried to call again and the host turned off his phone knowing I was struggling to get access into the property late at night. Called booking.com and was told I had to sit in the cold (by then it was past midnight) and wait for an answer from the host (who was clearly asleep). After over an hour on the phone to booking.com, freezing cold, absolutely shattered and just wanting to go to bed, they told me they are going to issue me a full refund but it will take upto 12 days and to go and book somewhere else. At 2am there is no option to book anywhere and I would have had to wait until 2pm to check into any accomodation. Single woman, 4 hours away from home, stranded alone in the middle of the night with no support from the host or from booking.com I had to call every hotel in the area to see who had a room available and in the end had to travel to Southgate to get a bed for the night at an inflated rate because I was desperate!!! The following day the host messaged me with random excuses about his phone dying (he read my first 3 messages and knew I was struggling) then he said someone went and checked the keys and they worked fine and I must not know how to use a key (you put it in and turn, I do it on a daily basis I'm not 2) ...

I am writing to formally complain about the extremely poor condition of the apartment I recently stayed in, which fell well below acceptable standards and what was advertised at the time of booking. Upon arrival, it was immediately clear that the apartment had not been cleaned prior to our stay. I have attached photographs as evidence. The issues included, but were not limited to: • Filthy bed sheets containing visible hairs • Poo stains throughout the toilet bowl • Hairs around the toilet, sink, and bath • Used towels left in the apartment These conditions were completely unacceptable and highly distressing. After contacting the host, a cleaner was eventually sent to the apartment. However, this occurred while we were already present, meaning the cleaner had to clean around us during our stay, which was both uncomfortable and inconvenient and not an appropriate solution. In addition, the listing stated that free WiFi was included. This service was not available at any point during our stay, despite being advertised as part of the booking. I would have preferred to raise this complaint immediately; however, due to the long distance we had travelled and concerns about jeopardising our accommodation, I felt unable to do so at the time. Overall, this experience caused significant inconvenience and distress and did not reflect the standard of accommodation that was promised. I expect this matter to be taken seriously and would appreciate a response outlining how this will be addressed, including any appropriate compensation. I look forward to your prompt response.

I liked that you could open two balcony doors in the living room It is in a walking distance from good restaurants, grocery store and pubs

If there was a air conditioning we could not find it. The traffic starts early there
