The Post Barn, beautiful barn conversion 10mins from Winchester

Located in nice little village close to Winchester with a bus into town - bus stop right opposite the accommodation Great pub within a short walk Spotlessly clean accommodation and well equipped kitchen (though no oven) We had a great stay and it was perfect to visit Winchester Christmas market Prompt and helpful responses from the owner

Single beds were very hard A TV would be a bonus, even if you don't want to turn it on Not much kitchen storage if there for more than a couple of days

Everything, it was beautiful and lots of nice welcoming touches from the breakfast cereal to ll the fresh linen and towels, I wanted to stay for longer. There was a huge selection if books to read, everything was just so well thought out - thank you :)

Nothing, in fact it is good that there was no tv, it encouraged us to get the board games out, that were also provided, they have thought of everything.

Very clean and well equipped for a short stay.Lovely quiet location.Warm and homely.Short distance from Winchester which was the nearest large town.Would stay again and recommend to a friend.Overall a great place to stay and no real complaints about anything.

Would have appreciated a visit from the host even if only to check everything okay.The four of us thought the beds were a little on the hard side though.Felt that the living/dining area would have benefited from a curtain across the doors to the outdoor barbeque area Would also recommend the fitting of a electric shaver point in the toilet/washroom.(Not a problem for me as I wet shave,but could be an issue for an electric shaver user).

Beautiful, cosy property. Very well kit out with lots of extra, thoughtful touches. Can I just mention the amazing granola?!!

Beautifully decorated and furnished.

The property details are misleading. We booked 3 bed accommodation as promoted in the details. When the email confirmation came thru (after final payment) I realised it was open plan. In fact, it is beds between eaves in a converted loft space. My teenage daughter ended up sleeping on the sofa. I have been back to look at the property details and whilst there is a photo of the loft space included, I did not see this as I was purely working from the property details. You need to ask the owner to update the details so other guests don’t make the same mistake.

The property was spacious, clean and modern. You could see the amount of thought that went into the property. The hosts were great and very helpful.

Very quiet, well equipped, charming property, lovely location and village, next door to lovely shop, so easy to eat in and eat well. Walking distance to cosy pub. We also enjoyed the private patio and breakfast items kindly provided.

Not a lot to critisize here. Mattress toppers may be appreciated by guests. Bathroom is small but functional. One bedroom / sleeps 5, good for family or close friends.
