De tuin. De veranda van de cabin. De asian bucketshower. De schaduw van de palmplantage. Happy hour.

We hadden een cabin met seaview geboekt inclusief ontbijt.toen we uitcheckten kregen we een rekening met het ontbijt te betalen. Slordig. Er waren 2 cabins met seaview. Wij kregen de seaview cabin met een stapelbed voor een stel met kinderen en dat hadden wij niet geboekt. Wij hadden een cabin met 2 persoonsbed only geboekt. We bleven 7 dagen en we kregen elk 1 handdoek voor de hele week. Niemand heeft in die week de (bad-)kamer schoongemaakt of aangeboden dat eventueel te doen. De hut is gehorig omdat het huis van de eigenaar ? er heel dicht naast staat. Geluid van de restaurant bar is storend in de cabin. Na 10 uur savonds is het wel heel respectvol stil ! Het is niet duidelijk wie staff is en wie gast is. Niet duidelijk wie van de staff verantwoordelijk is voor wat. Erg relaxed. Beetje alsof je in een informeel clubhuis bent in plaats van in een resort.

Beautiful location on the beach. Good for swimming and sunset. Nice traditional style bungalows in between trees. Large open lounge area to hang out. The food they offer is tasty and home cooked with Philippino specialties from Camiguin and European dishes. The hosts are very accomodating and very helpful on giving advice for all kinds of activities (snorkeling, hiking, diving, sightseeing in general). It’s a very friendly atmosphere there. Nice to also just hang out and chat to the hosts and fellow traveler. Scooter rental is available. There is a dive shop included in the resort. The aircon room, newly renovated, with sea view was a real gem. Salamat

The direct access to the beach was very pleasant, the food served at the restaurant is very tasty! Staff was nice and helpful with booking tuktuks and renting paddle boards.

Some people were smoking inside the restaurant while we were eating dinner (there is a designed smoking area outside)... Facilities could be cleaner.

I really enjoyed my stay at Playa del fuego! The staff is nice, the location in the middle of the forest but also near the beach is nice but don’t expect an awesome beach. It’s simple but still really nice here! Although it doesn’t seem so it’s really social because the guys running this place are trying for everyone to feel welcomed and social!

Playa del Fuego est très bien situé et le cadre est magnifique. Il y a une super ambiance, chill et conviviale, tout le monde est disponible pour vous conseiller sur la découverte de l’île et plus encore. Il y a aussi un club de plongée (OPAW diving) où nous avons fait 2 plongée avec Loïc qui est super sympa et très pédagogue. Foncez y les yeux fermés ! Encore merci pour ce super séjour !
