Avocado House - Private House With Garden View

This was probably the nicest accommodation I had during my 5 months in Bali. The standard was quite high, the place was sparkling clean, and everything looked almost new. The air con worked great, water pressure / hot water as well. Plus, it was nice to have my own kitchen, a garden and a terrace. It was a very peaceful experience.

A mosquito net and a pot in the kitchen would have made it perfect. Besides that: I liked the location because it's in the middle of nature and therefore very quiet, yet fairly close to many of my favourite places in Ubud. However, it's worth mentioning that it's necessary to rent a scooter or download Grab/Gojek and that some driving skills may be required. The house is at the end of a small path that can be slippery at times, depending on the weather conditions.

I spent 6 weeks in this wonderful place. Such a peacefull, beautiful, very calm and very clean little place. I felt very comfortable and safe. There is No construction close by and No mold which is very precious in Bali. All furniture and kitchen are new. Agus and his family were always very kind and there for me whenever i needed anything. Thank you so so much Agus. I will definately come back soon. 💗🙏🏻

Everything about Avocado House is excellent. Brand newly built with aircon and no mould. Perfect little kitchen and bathrooms. Agus, the owner was incredibly helpful and kind. It was clean, well taken care of and quiet. You can walk into the rice fields at the end of the garden. There are cameras for security and Agus was there most days for the watering and the chickens.

Just to note - you want to be really confident on a motorbike because the path to get there is very narrow and broken in places. This meant to was also very secluded and felt very safe and quiet. The cleaning schedule was a bit confusing, maybe they didn’t have a consistent cleaner yet. It was always on a different day and time. It would be helpful to know it was every Tuesday and Saturday at this time, for example. Agus always texted me when they would clean but I didn’t know in advance to plan around not being there. The cleaning was always excellent.
