Nice Villa Aging looks after and keeps it clean

Beautiful yard. The alley is narrow and very noisy all day and up to about midnight with lots of scooters beeping and very heavily used all day long and night. Lots of local businesses to use. Restaurants, cafes, resorts, Small Marts, spa's and beach is not too far to walk to. Went to Ku De Tah Restaurant on the beach adjacent to the Oberai Resort on the beach front. Excellent breakfast and drinks and superb Staff to serve up.

The hand held shower sprayer or plumbing had a bad leak that got the first bedroom bathroom floor all wet when used in the bathtub.

Nothing.

This Villa was so bad that we sought alternative accommodation two hours after arriving. The main problem, and the reason we could not stay was that the bathrooms were filthy and only brown smelly water came out of taps. When we questioned this, we were told to run the taps to clear the water - this did not work. Therefore, showering was impossible. How are you supposed to stay in a Villa that does not provide clear running water???? Glass doors and windows were white with dust and grime. Pond near pool covered in mosquitos. Bond was demanded in cash. If you want in Villa breakfast you need to pay in advance. Kitchen was full of clutter. Sofa was sticky with grime. The request for two large beds in each room was not met and when requested we were told they would do it 'tomorrow' as they only work until 4pm and it was 3.30pm. Floor was so dirty it left our feet black. Sewerage smell everywhere. Broken tiles around pool. We informed Villa Manager that we were leaving, and they only responded once we had left and were settled in another villa. They only tried to fix the problems once they knew we were out of the villa. How you are supposed to fix the filthy water situation in an evening, I don't know as this seemed to be a significant problem. We started receiving WhatsApps from 9pm that evening and into the next day. All of which we reminded them that we did not stay there. They have still not refunded our money (we had booked a 7night stay), even when I have it in writing that they would. Thye have given false and misleading information to Booking.com (who have been of no assistance). The only reimbursement they ever offered was a free breakfast which was useless as we did not stay. They lied and said they tried to enter the property and that we did not let them in - we left the keys in the door when we left at 6pm and they tried to see us the next day - when they knew we had left. We are still waiting for a REFUND!!!!
