Tan-Y-Fron Holiday Park

We had a fantastic 4-night stay at the caravan park. The site was clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, with great facilities and a well-stocked shop nearby the caravan park. Sue was friendly and welcoming, always ready to help. It was the perfect base for exploring the local area, with lovely walks and attractions nearby. Highly recommend for a relaxing break — we’ll definitely be back!

Had to go to reception to get key and Wasn’t told about needing cash for deposit.

The price, the accommodation and the location. It was very well priced and a great base to explore Cadair Idris.

There was a room above which was very noisy but fortunately there was no noise in the evening or night time.

Location is amazing for the town as well as excursions within the local area and mid Wales. A 5 minute walk to the centre of Dolgellau. Loads of brocures supplied to venture out in the area for walks. The kitchen has everything you would need if you plan on cooking for yourself with lots of space in the lounge & sitting room to enjoy your meal & watch tv.

Beds and bedrooms are small so something to be aware of. The single beds are not big enough for adults but would suit children. Also be aware that the mobile home gets hot during the day but can be cold at night. Nothing unexpected from a mobile home/caravan though but something to keep in mind. The TV was a smart tv but the apps weren't updated & couldn't be updated (at least by me) so only live tv was available.

Great location, lovely little campsite and good value for money. Host was very kind and helpful to us. Will stay again

Wasn't a fan of the leather settees! Kept sliding on the floor! But no big deal

The caravan was lovely and clean, and very well equipped. There was a gorgeous view out of the window!

The only thing the caravan lacked was a bread knife haha!

Sue was a very welcoming host, kindly meeting me and helping me get settled after arriving after a long trip on my motorbike. The place was spotlessly clean, comfortable and warm. Being just a 5 minute walk from Dolgellau centre it was well situated too for accessing the local pubs for food and drink. Also great if exploring the national park, being just 10 minutes drive or even walkable to start of Cadair Idris/Penygader. I would love to stay again when I make another trip up.
