Bright, book-filled flat in artsy Stokes Croft

Very cozy apartment filled to the brim with books you actually want to read (and not just charity shop leftovers <3). Fully equipped kitchen and more towels than you will ever need.

The sleeping arrangements are a bit uncomfy if you are more than 2 people – the sofa is not the most comfortable, so just count with that when booking.

Exceptional accommodation, very cozy and clean. Host was very attentive to details and provided all necessities!

The sofa pull-out bed may be slightly less comfortable for certain guests but not at all a deal-breaker.

Not much was good unfortunately.

The apartment was in a very dirty and not a safe-seeming neighbourhood (needed to unlock three locks to get into the house, one of which was broken) and was much further from the city centre and the university than the description made it out to be. The house itself was not cleaned properly unfortunately, with the bath mats full of hair, walls riddled with mould spots and the towels smelling burnt/ odd. There were also bugs. I wouldn't say the house actually looks as big and bright as the photos make it seem. Not sure who the neighbour is but when they come in or talk you can hear absolutely everything, including doors slamming late into the night. The front doors of this house and the house next door could not be closer together (you couldnt open both at the same time because they both open at an angle that would bump into each other). The TV in the apartment is very old and the bed barely fits two people. I also sadly found the customer service condescending and not very helpful, and it didn't help that they insisted on requesting a deposit through an external website just days before we went over. Overall, although I was excited to stay there initially, I honestly couldn't wait to leave since day one.

It was impeccable, super clean and with everything that you need for a comfortable stay.

Great location and lovely space with some great touches. The best amount of kitchen ware I’ve ever come across in a short let. Really appreciated. Clean. Plenty of towels and bedding. Warm. Nicely decorated and practical.

Finding parking was initially very tricky as it was before the end of the residents parking times and it was very rainy and very busy everywhere so it would have been great to have had access to a permit just for the first evening. Once it was past a certain time it was fine.

Beautiful comfortable apartment in great location.

The flat was lovely, beautifully decorated and I wish I had longer to read through the wonderful assortment of books.
