Huoneiston sijainti oli erinomainen Riian vanhan kaupungin keskellä aivan Mustapäiden talon naapurissa. Huoneisto on melko rauhallinen. Makuuhuoneiden ikkunat ovat torille päin, mistä iltaisin kuuluu toki ihmisten elämisen ääniä.

Huoneistossa olisi hyvin tilaa ottaa myös toinen makuuhune hyötykäyttöön - eli makuuhuoneeksi. Levitettävä sohva ei tarjoa kovinkaan mukavaa nukkumiskokemusta. Samoin kunnolliselle ruokapöydälle olisi tilaa runsaasti - sellaista ei vain ole. Koko majoittumisen aikana huoneistoon ei tullut lämmintä vettä, joten hieno high-tech -suihku jäi käyttämättä. Ilmeisesti kaasulla toimiva lämminvesipoltin oli rikki, eikä sitä saatu vierailumme aikana korjattua. Erittäin masentavaa! Edelleen mahtava hight-teck -japanilainen wc-istuin ei toiminut - tai ainakaan en sitä omalla järjenjuoksullani saanut toimimaan...

The location is phenomenal and the check-in is without problem. Even though you're overlooking one of the more popular squares, there is no noise when windows are closed. The host made sure to supply earplugs, in case you are a light sleeper. The kitchen was well equipped, and has everything you need to prepare meals.

One thing that stood out for us as negative, but could have easily been fixed is that when we arrived, we came across a full basket of towels in the bathroom. Upon asking the host whether the towels are for use, we got a reply that those are dirty and we should use the ones in the bedroom closet. However, all we found there were none, only linen. I don't know if it was expected of us to wash the basket of towels, but I expected entering a fully equipped apartment. After all, we booked it for a week. Also, the heating in the bathroom wouldn't work (the one that is supposed to work all year long), and the host told us to just be patient when trying it out, which we were but to no avail. Finally, the water heater is really unstable (it's turning on and off at will), so don't expect to have even 5min of stable water temperature when in the shower.

Sijainti oli erinomainen, kaikki mielenkiintoiset nähtävyydet lähellä. Paljon myös hyviä ruokapaikkoja. Tilava huoneisto ja siisti. Asunnosta kivat näkymät ! Olimme todella tyytyväisiä.

Hyvin pärjättiin, mutta keittiössä olisi voinut olla astioita vähän enemmän. Kaasuliettä ei meistä kukaan ollut käyttänyt pitkään aikaan, joten emme uskaltaneet käyttää. Kaasulieden käytöstä voisi laittaa lieden viereen pienen ohjeistuksen.
