The Koi House with Pool

House located on the hill, surrounded by amazing nature, with a good swimming pool. Extremely peaceful and quiet place.Our room was decorated with taste, and we had a fan and air-conditioning. Windows was protected, so no bugs were entering inside. The kitchen was outside of the balcony, which made my breakfast even more incredibly pleasent as I could see birds and butterflies and feel the fresh hawaian breeze. The place was very clean. The bathroom, although shared, was vast and had all the necessary stuff, even suncream and aloe vera gel to help our skin after being exposed to the sun. Tha was a really nice touch.! Host was very polite, helpful and nice. We truly enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to everyone.

I loved everything - except for the mattress. It was way too soft for my taste. However, everything else was great. Friendly, clean, tidy, well-located. Mahalo nui!

The Hosts provided us milk for coffee on no notice! Thanks. It made our mornig. We were here for one night before moving to a retreat venue. This is a shared space with hosts primary residence and shared bathroom. For one night we probably would have been better off in a hotel closer to town. If we were in town for a week it would have been a great base of operations for a longer visit. It is in a suburban neighborhood walkable to nothing so a car would be required for an extended stay. That being said the host was super nice and we were jet lagged. We woke up early had some coffee and ubered away for breakfast and never came back. If we come to Kona again we would happily use this as our base of operations. The little kitchen would be great for cooking while at the property.

Overall it was clean and nice. It had lots of facilities available which is great.

The parking was wild, not for inexperienced drivers.

We were extremely happy with our stay! There are only two rooms sharing the main bathroom, so it was never an issue. The house is clean, well-appointed, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We loved having coffee on the little balcony in the morning and the sunset views were really lovely too. This place is an awesome deal and we would definitely consider staying again in the future.

Truly nothing. We did find it quite noisy in the morning with all of the birds around- but earplugs (provided) were a huge help!

Pros: -Great location, but be sure to have a car. -Conveniences are provided - sunscreen, beach chairs, cooler, beach towels, etc. -nice to have a kitchen available and a pool to cool off in. Cons: -We usually enjoy shared accommodation. It often reduces the cost and allows us to meet people. However, our private space was anything but private. One window had a guest’s car parked 2 feet away from it and the other window had a path beside it that guests used to access their suite and a picnic table 5 feet away from it. -the bathroom has a locked, but slatted door that faces the shared outdoor kitchen, therefore lacks privacy -The air con and fans were very loud. -The mattress was uncomfortable.

It is cute and beautiful stay. Great location and all needed facilities present.
