The Bothy, Nethy Bridge

Excellent coffee

Felt like we didn’t really have control of the heating and was cold at times

Loved the cosiness and airy, open plan of the Bothy. Also, thoughtful little touches like the dog bag, the secret Tunnocks teacakes 😍, friendly hosts with great local knowledge and tips. Walking straight out from the doorstep into the forest and onto the Speyside Way was wonderful, owls screeching and hooting at night, woodpeckers gearing up for the breeding season ahead. Friendly hotel serving good food and drinks in Nethybridge and a fabulous cafe in the village too. A wonderful, peaceful location to relax, re-connect and recharge. Hope we will be back! Lovely location ,very quiet ,but handy for walking into the village. The bothy was very cosy and comfortable. It had everything you needed. Great base if you're into the outdoors.

Lovely views. Very clean. Great hosts. Very quiet and comfy. Loved the kitchen in cupboard. Everything we needed was there too. Did everything possible to make our stay comfy. Minor issue with internet that they were unaware of but apologised for prefusely. The area is very pretty and house super quiet. It looks exactly as pictured. Worth money. Its warm, welcoming and we had a great stay. The bed was comfy, chairs were comfy. Shower works well and was spotless. The house was warm and hosts very helpful. They made time to chat to us and are very knowledgeable about the area. Huge thanks for having us. Happy New year to you all.

Only issue we had for which owner apologised was internet cut out a few times. We were expecting internet to be an issue with property being so rural. Only caused us issue once as phone signal is patchy. Owners were going to address this. They could not apologise enough.

Total peace and quiet in a stunning location. Beautiful woodland walks on your doorstep. All you need in accomodation for a peacuful break. Cozy comfortable bed with amazing views through the trees. Would love to return.

To some people, the lack of a television might be an issue, but I think it added to the overall peacefulness, made us read more and gave a more chilled relaxed stay.

Location is quiet on the edge of the forest but close to shop and cafe. Very clean, comfortable and great to have all the basics like coffee, salt, cooking oil and much more in the property. The owners seem to have thought of everything.

Lack of privacy but to be fair this was mentioned in the information about the property when I booked so I was aware before I went. Would be nice if the tv was downstairs rather than in the bedroom but great WiFi made it easy to view stuff on a laptop.
