Cozy Studio in Old Town

Location

The common area had a very bad smell and was, at best, not clean. The bedsheets were stained yellow, and I found hairs on the pillow. The bed was the worst I’ve ever slept on, the pictures hide the fact that there’s nothing underneath, just a thin 10cm mattress on the floor. By the second night, I had back pain. The heater was weak, despite at max, likely on purpose to limit energy use, which meant a cold apartment at night and in the morning. The shower had no curtain or barrier, making it unsafe to walk in the bathroom afterward, and there was no extractor fan. Soundproofing was nonexistent. During the day, there was construction noise; at night, neighbors were shouting until 3 AM. The window facing the road was not soundproof, and from the door, you could hear shouting, crying, people running up and down the stairs, and every time the entrance door opened and closed. Dirty crusted pan, No clothes rack, no free toiletries (I asked for body soap/shower gel and was denied), and no terrace as advertised. If an apartment lists certain facilities, it should actually provide them, this one failed to do so. Very disappointing. The price for my dates far too high for what it offers.

This is a very compact accommodation but quite appealing. Well located for the old city and in an interesting communist era building with an iconic old fashioned lift (you don't need to use the lift as the accommodation is only a half-flight up, but we found a ride in the lift entertaining!)

Position of bed meant limited access to window. Could do with a couple more teaspoons! Seemed strange that there was no extractor fan in the bathroom?

Perfect, central location and easy access to public transport!

I personally think it’s a bit too small for 2 people more than a few days, but that’s down to personal preference!

In the kitchen area ants... Bed very uncomfortable.

Location was accessible via tram, had all the required amenities and facilities

Building itself was rundown though room was modern, could have communicated check in instructions before the day itself
