Casa Segreto, sul porto di Santa Marina Salina

Really beautiful apartment right on the port, 2 minutes walk from the boat dock. Nice view from the balcony and the upstairs terrace. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen. It was super-clean. Our host met us at the property and allowed us to check in early and check out late. She was very responsive during our stay via text messages.

The house is right next to two busy restaurants with outdoor seating. The actual dining noise is not too intrusive and didn't bother us at all. However, on two of the 3 nights that we were there, the restaurants had loud parties. One of the restaurants (Porto Bello) is actually authorized to play music until 1am, though they don't do that every night but only if they have a special party. The party at the other restaurant was quickly shut down by the local police (my understanding is that they didn't have a permit for loud music). Otherwise the apartment was very quiet and comfortable. If you plan to have an early night, you may want to check with the host if there are any parties planned, she is in touch with the restaurant owners.

We loved the location with two wonderful panoramic terraces and the beautifully tiled interior. We also loved being right on the water.
