USThe house was so nice, peaceful, and quiet. It really gave me and husband a wonderful place to rest and unwind from a busy family/work life. The house was clean and neat, they also offered everything we needed other than food. But plenty of utensils and cookware , towels and blankets. It really made us feel like we were home away from home. I will definitely come here again.

The password for the wifi was given in uppercase in one instance, the gravel driveway will be difficult for some cars and the water heater startled me once at night.

USThe house was cozy and clean and some what secluded...loved it!! We thought it was State park property but that was my mistake. The neighbors that lived there were super friendly, nice area for walks and hiking a small stream ran on the adjacent property. The hosts added little touches that we totally appreciated!!! Sugar!! Local menus, wood for the fire pit. Not sure if the deer that were in the yard when we arrived were on the payroll or not..lol but my foster kids LOOOOVED it!! It was cold but since Santa left the gifts under the tree in the yard we ate lunch on the patio and before bed the kids got to experience S'mores!! I grew up in WV & I was so happy that they love it as much as I did. They are begging to go back in the Spring to go house hunting and stay at the "little house"! My in-laws live in Petersburg so this was just perfect in every way!!
We had an issue with the water but didn't feel it was issue enough to bother the hosts. We showed the kiddos how we grew up...the did not appreciate hauling the water from the little stream to the house to heat so they could "bird bath"...BUT ME and MY HUSBAND LOVED IT!!! In all honesty we didn't have to do it but did it for the kids to get the experience.
USPerfect location close to nature and surrounded by woods. Cozy, clean and well equipped. A wonderful get away.
