Very private, owners have thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable and easy. Excellent facilities. Nice, safe and very convenient neighbourhood

Just a little bit of footsteps from upstairs but no big deal. Access is through the garage which is unusual but also works fine

We loved the atmosphere of the place, the lights were on when we arrived and there was even a bottle of wine! The location is just fantastic, just up the street from Hope St where there are lots of great places to eat and get a coffee. It is also very easy to get to the highway. The communication was wonderful and suggestions for dining options spot on. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Everything was fine.

Owners' instructions were clear, timely and friendly. The decor of the apartment and the set up were magazine quality. Having 1 1/2 bathroom was totally unexpected and appreciated. Having a reserved parking spot made arrival easy, and the quiet neighborhood combined w/good mattress allowed us to sleep very well. I also appreciated the host suggesting a happy hour place for oysters.

Loved everything... but there are a lot of light switches... and it was challenging to figure out where to light each fixture. but NOT a major problem :-),

It was immaculate: clean, comfortable and great location. Enjoyed the backyard which was beautifully decorated.

The ceiling was a little too low for my 6’ tall partner when he had to change his shirt and put deodorant on.

The location of this unit is very beautiful, not far off from all worthwhile Locations while being nestled in a very beautiful calm residential area. It was clean and met all of our expectations for a stay just short of a week. Communication with the owners was easy and John & Dulci were very accommodating.

Since it is a lower level unit with not a lot of window space for airing out the rooms it can feel a little stuffy if you’re in for a while (but that may very well just be my european need for fresh air as opposed to AC, so take with a grain of salt).

The area was nice. That’s it.

The owner was extremely unprofessional. From what started as a stay to look forward to, quickly turned into wasting my money on a property that did not want me there. The owner communicated with me minutes after booking and into the day of my stay. He gave me the code to enter and shortly after asked how things were and told me to enjoy my stay. Within minutes of wishing me well (and after 3 hours of checking into the property), he told me that I needed to leave because he didn’t realize that he had double booked with a different guest. He wanted me to cancel the reservation on my end (non-refundable by the way) to make his job as a host easier to accommodate the guests he forgot about. He offered me no accommodations on his end and had me waste 2 hours of my time trying to get an explanation from customer service. Mind you, he texted me all of this… didn’t even bother to speak to me face to face or call me to explain, as a good host should have done. He made me feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable for the remainder of my stay and it’s sucks because they have otherwise great reviews so this felt very personal, if not racially motivated. I do understand this double booking may have truly been overlooked on the owners part, but I was a paying guest too…not just the other party. My money is just as valuable as anyone else’s and I shouldn’t have been asked to leave hours after getting settled in just to make the owners job easier. On top of all that, the owner had the audacity to lie to me about checkout time being 11am when it is clearly states that the checkout time is 12pm on their listing…on multiple websites. The property itself was okay. It screams DIY with its gaudy decorations, tacky self promotion of the owners personal business, awkward lighting and decor with racial undertones (African statues that are “serving” guests). There is a strong scent of some type of pet the second you walk in.

Everything. Location was perfect. Parking for our SUV. Lots of shops and restaurants 1/4 block away on Hope Street. The property was wonderful. Well appointed and comfortable. John and Dulci were outstanding hosts. We will stay there again.
