Great room with private little terrace, big tv, amazing huge bed, tea and coffee making facilities, fridge and milk provided- everything spick and span, modern, great place. Helpful host.

Nothing we didn't like - a great property we would happily return to - but with knowledge that breakfast not available nearby, so best to take own croissants! Also, shower a little complicated to use, in hindsight.

My partner had the perfect overnight stay. Great parking, the bed was very comfortable, lovely hot shower, and he was very grateful for the little extras like fresh milk, yogurt and fruit.

Absolutely nothing negative about this property.

A lovely room that was very clean, warm and welcoming. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. Also a very welcoming host. All in all a great stay and I would recommend it for short stays.

I have only one small comment here. The top outside stair leading into the room is slightly slanted. For safety reasons I suggest that you re site this step as it was slightly slippy when wet. You did indeed warn us of the slight slippiness but this step does need adjusting.

It was clean, nice modern deco, everything you needed and more. Lovely big comfy bed. Very kind owner that drove us into the village so we could have a couple of drinks and something to eat

Location great for visiting sister in consett basic breakfast but enjoyable

Was cold no heating to start with . Have walking issues with stick but could manage for couple of nights very comfortable steps were obstacle.

Location is good for Consett area. Room is a decent size. Good shower and bathroom area…

One of the Wardrobe clothes rail too high to reach, unless you are a giant. Needed a small breakfast table and chair for morning snacks.
