GBOff street parking. Great location for us to visit our relatives. Good shower. Large comfortable bedrooms. Great TV. Cosy and warm. Large fridge freezer and good cooking facilities. Surprisingly quiet.
Broken kitchen blind. Could have done with more cooking pans and cutlery. Needed cushions in the lounge. Needed hooks on which to hang wet towels. Needed hooks to hang coats. Bathroom sink drainage was slow at times.

The apartment had several safety and maintenance issues that affected our stay. The stairs are extremely steep, including the first set you have to climb just to enter the apartment - you have to unlock standing at the top, and the staircase to the bedrooms is even steeper - my young children had to go down on their bottoms. In the kitchen, there is a door with a dog flap that opens directly to a drop where the old entrance appears to have been removed (now part of the car park). Although it was locked, I was uncomfortable with this being accessible to children. A few windows also open wide enough for someone to climb through, which didn’t feel secure. The kitchen has no proper ventilation for cooking, which I'm pretty sure breaks building regulations, and some utensils and crockery were greasy. We also noticed a number of general maintenance issues: missing lightbulbs, dirty carpets, missing sink plugs, missing door handles, screws sticking out of furniture and a mouldy towel rail. Each room had a scented vapour plug, and once we switched them off (as fragrances trigger my mum's migraines), the flat had an unpleasant underlying smell. I want to support this business but I also feel compelled to rectify a misleading advert - the pictures and descriptions do not reflect reality.

GBplace was lovely.. But stairs are steep, so they could do with hand rail on both sides. I felt very unsteady coming down at night for loo. The Internet WiFi didn't work for phones .couldn't with code get on my phone ..Tv wasn't easy to watch either needed code number ?.. also, a small bin in the bathroom would be good for future stays .. was a good stay. These are pointers for the future to help feel safe on stairs .. im looking to book the downstairs flat for next Christmas 🎄
Stairs need hand rail both sides on both hall way stairs and inside flat stairs ..
