"Nice, quiet, relaxing stay in a modern, well appointed home for our family and parents."

10.0

The place was exceptionally well appointed for a rental unit, especially the kitchen where nearly every appliance or utensil or tool is stocked from high end brands. The house was very clean and had ample spare toiletries, towels, cleaning supplies, sheets, dinnerware and utensils, etc. to use or restock versus many places that typically leave you with one paper towel roll and a couple laundry pods and then let you deal with purchasing more for a long term stay. Location was in a nice, quiet neighborhood that is still easily accessible to beach areas by walking or to town and further beaches by a short drive. The host, Kristen, was extremely responsive to any needs, most notably when we couldn’t locate a wine opener, which wasn’t a big deal and would have bought one the next day, til her daughter showed up an hour later at our door with a brand new automatic wine opener. I don’t doubt that should you run into any issues that don’t meet your needs or face an issue that needs to be remedied, Kristen will do whatever she can to address it as quickly and efficiently as possible. It honestly felt like home for our month-long stay there and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to someone planning a longer stay. It provided a nice space to relax in after a day out with plenty of room for our family to spread out when needed.

There honestly weren’t any issues with the place. Only things I could note as additional nice-to-haves would be a grill and maybe a beach wagon and chairs. We fortunately had friends/family on the island who could provide those so never had to reach out to the host but future renters may not have those resources.
