We had 2 nights only at Sama Retreat. The place is superb! The location is very convenient from Colombo airport. The room was very nice, the surrounding of the jungle nature was amaizing. We had a view over the ocean which was very nice. The food was very good and with a lot of quantities. Their Sri Lankan cuisine is very good and the staff are very helpful and attentive to all needs. We tried also the spa and it was very good experience. A beautiful place

Sama retreats is amazing, a fantastic retreat that gives you the feeling you’re in a small paradise. The cottages are nicely spread with a lot of privacy and respecting the beautiful nature of the property. We stayed in the Chieftain cottage which has a beautiful private pool and view on the ocean. The cottage itself is very spacious and comfortable, it has a nice authentic atmosphere inside and outside. The staff of Sama retreats is just incredible, everybody working there is friendly, helpful and tries to give you the stay of your life. This really make the stay exceptional and something you’ll remember. A compliment for the chef, diner and breakfast are very good and personal wishes are always taken into account. Thank you Lasanthe and Vijaya for the great service during breakfast/diner, Fabian and Kavi for the hospitality and all the other employees as well for making it a stay we’ll not forget!
