Pay attention to the contract, as it will be brought up at every opportunity. For example, when I asked why the grill was not functional, despite it being listed on Booking.com, the response was that the agreement states they are not obligated to provide it during the winter. Upon our arrival at the property after a long journey, we wanted to take a shower but discovered that all the taps in the house emitted a strong sulfur/rotten egg smell. I immediately informed the owner, who came to replace the filter in the water system. However, she explained that the property uses filtered well water and that this is the smell she has been accustomed to for years. I’m sorry to disappoint, but it is indeed the smell of rot. I told her that this should have been explicitly stated. Additionally, the kitchen walls were covered in cobwebs and insects, with mouse dropping On the countertop. The grill didn’t work, and I was informed that the agreement sent after booking on Booking.com specifies that they are not obligated to provide outdoor amenities during the winter. It should be noted that they agreed to provide a new gas cylinder, but since it was discovered that the grill was damaged by previous guests, I was asked not to use it at all. In the kitchen, some of the utensils were new and convenient, while some of the glasses were very old and filthy. I informed the owner about the mice issue, and she saw the droppings herself. She offered to send a cleaner, but I asked for traps instead. She said she could provide glue traps, but I requested something less cruel. She promised to bring them during the day.

the view of the lake, the availability of kitchen supplies, the size of the house and set up of the bedrooms, the firepit, the wrap around porch and balcony with table and chairs, the comfy chairs with the beautiful view through the window

the spiders and flies in the gazebo on the property, the bed in the downstairs bedroom wasn't very comfortable, the microwave did not work, maybe needs more lighting outside-difficulty to see and/or find the property at night time. the grass could have been cut better to accommodate the walk to the lake
