Morgantown Inn & Suites

Stayed in town for a geocaching event. Everything was good here.

It was filthy, floor tiles coming up, screen cut off windows, no lock on outside door, for starters. The pool outside our window directly, had about two feet of blackish green sludge and a food truck with a generator at the end of the bldg. I HAVE PICTURES TO PROVE IT.

The staff were very kind and helpful.

The reviews were VERY misleading. Although the staff were great (which is huge), the hotel itself has had a few updates, but is need of many. The walls were very thin, you could hear EVERYTHING ( especially the neighboring rooms shower). The lock was stripped and falling off the door, screen on the windows were ripped, the sheets were very yellowed, the tub had been patched (in a sloppy manner), pool was not filled, the lights took a bit to come on, and the baseboards in the bathroom were peeling away from the wall. On a plus staff were great and the beds were very comfortable, I slept well.

The location was awesome. It was an easy off and on exit. It also had a DG Market and gas station right next to it. I don't believe they offered breakfast, but I can't be sure because I didn't go down to the lobby, but I didn't smell anything.

I pretty much went in my room and went to sleep. I got up the next morning, took my shower and Ieft.

Well kept (older) property, comfy bed, clean sheets and towels, working ice maker.

Only stayed 1 night, all was well, pool out of service.

We checked inn and the pool they advertised is sludge water. The room was horrible we had to wait for them to clean a room. They have 40 rooms and not a single other occupant and they needed 2 hours to clean the room. They had no coffee available and we found an infestation of ants and went to say something they handed us a bottle of raid. The toilet wasn’t bolted down. The doors are all broken on the outside so the hotel is never locked down. We checked out a night early and they refused a refund.

Everything and all you can smell is Indian food

The staff are very nice and accommodating

It’s right next to the interstate, and very convenient to get to

The beds were very comfortable and the staff was great!

The shower hadn't been cleaned very well. There was used soap in there with pubic hairs on it.

The hotel is right near everything.

I was the only occupant.
