Great communications from both the owner and their agents, this is a lovely little cottage in a beautiful Suffolk village. I picked Framlingham at random, but it turns out that it is not only the birthplace of Ed Sheeran but one of the locations used for filming Detectorists. The cottage is full of quirky charm and lots of little details for a long weekend or week away.

I was there on what was probably the coldest week of the year and it took a while for the wood burner to get the cottage warm. The stairs are quite steep and awkward to get a case up, but that comes with beung an older property

Immaculately decorated, style and great facilities. Lovely neighbours too, happy to have a chat and tell us about the area and house. Lovely welcome with bread, butter and fresh milk - so appreciated!

Clean , great location , comfortable bed

Very steep staircase, lack of headroom in bathroom, lack of privacy with close proximity of neighbours no curtains made us feel overlooked, lack of firewood supplied and very small tv with no real place to put it to view as suggested place on box doesn’t work with fireplace lit
