Seaside Escape - Deganwy Beach Cottage - Sea Views & Golf Course Views

Lovely views. Top floor was spacious and comfortable.

The double and single room didn’t have much room. We have tall teenagers. Whilst clean in general, areas like the inside (and top) of wardrobes and toothbrush holder and needed attention.

We really liked the view from the estate, this large window in the living room is impressive, the location is very good to make trips and explore the neighbourhood

The only small downside is the lack of a second toilet, which can be embarrassing when going there with friends

The view was excellent! The kitchen/ dining and lounge were very modern and comfortable.

There were a few snags, dodgy bedside light in the double room, broken wardrobe door and the ventilation in the bathroom needed improvement. The outside space was a bit forlorn.

It no longer looks like the photos and needs some maintenance, a tidy up inside cupboards, wardrobes, etc.and a deep clean. Plus the windows would benefit from a wash to get the most out of the view.

The location was very good, with Conwy and Llandudno just a short drive away, along with nearby beaches, tourist attractions, and dining options. However, there aren’t many places to eat out or grab a coffee right on your doorstep. The surrounding areas are incredibly picturesque, offering some spectacular views. We went to Bodnant Gardens and Llanberis during our stay which are particularly nice.

The accommodation was adequate but could use some maintenance and TLC. We were asked to be diligent with recycling, but upon arrival, the communal bins were overflowing, making it difficult to sort our rubbish. During our stay, we received an email from the host reminding us about recycling due to complaints about the bin areas, suggesting this might be an ongoing issue. The property is advertised as sleeping six with two double beds, but in reality, there’s only one double bed and a daybed that converts to a double. The mattresses on the daybed were very thin and uncomfortable, there was a slat missing from the pull out section of the daybed. Making it not very safe or comfortable for my wife and me to sleep on. Although a cot was advertised, it was a travel cot with very limited space to set it up, leaving us with our baby boy squeezed in right next to us. The bathroom had exposed wires and pipes, which concerned us as we have a one-year-old and a five-year-old. Overall, the property isn't very young child-friendly and could improve in this regard. Some areas are starting to look a bit worn, and several features advertised online weren't available. The different coloured lighting meant to create ambiance wasn’t working, the outdoor area was not very clean and uninviting, and some cupboards were worn. The bedding was mismatched, with different cushions, sheets, and duvets, which felt odd. Additionally, the washing machine had dirty water inside which we had to drain.
