We really enjoyed our stay in this large and comfortable family home. Everything you need is on the ground floor so the kids were able to take over the first floor and create the own kingdom. The location is definitely rural, which is what we looking for so we could explore the interior, but you are still within easy access of larger towns, the coast, including Lisbon, which is only an hour away. The house itself is very spacious and has everything you could need during your holiday break. Outside, the garden and pool are well maintained and it was very relaxing to enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace in the evening. Overall cleanliness was absolutely fine - clean sheets, loads of towels and all bathroom necessities were provided. The kitchen appeared perfectly suitable for cooking a great family meal, but we didn't make use of the facilities. We would recommend this house as a good base for people who want to explore the area, especially large families and groups of friends, as the space is really impressive.
