Rooms in an Epsom House

Great place, quiet neighbourhood, friendly hosts, nice to have the free parking and use of the kitchen/fridge. Not central, but not hard to get to the CBD by either bus or car, and there's a good street full of restaurants about a 10 minute walk away.

You can't lock the bedroom door from the outside, which would be fine, but there are sometimes other guests in the house. I wasn't super worried about losing anything, but it wouldn't hurt to be cautious.

The hosts are so welcoming and the beds are very comfortable - it’s a home away from home! Christine and Bo kindly let us use their kitchen to prepare dinner and sandwiches for our trip the next day, the location is great and only a short walk from mount eden and short uber from the bus station. It’s so great we are returning there again when passing through Auckland next. Can’t recommend enough for a short stay in Auckland.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable with everything required for a good nights rest. Very quiet suburban street which helped as the window was left open due to experiencing a spell of gorgeous weather.

Very small point: there could have been a drinking vessel in the bathroom(s). Unfortunately I am required to take a few medicines regularly and one of which is dispersible in water. Improvise, Adapt, Overcome. :-)

The room was clean and comfortable. We had use of the kitchen. Free private parking was a bonus.

Bad noise insulation

Comfy bed. Quiet. Nice host. Nice area.

The room got very hot and there was a fan which was great but it made a really annoying noise. But maybe they can buy another one?
