It is a delightful flat with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a balcony with good views. It's near the seafront and shop and bars and bus stops. But it is also directly above a music bar, where there is loud "Irish folk" music from 10 pm to 2 am every night.

The first night the music really kept us awake. We got more used to it - and some singers had gentler voices than others! One night I sat drinking Guinness in another Irish bar, listening to the live country and western music and trying to kill the time. But generally we were too tired from the beautiful sunshine lifestyle by 10 pm to be up for all the musical offerings.

The location is good if you want to be close to the bars and restaurants of the old town and port. It’s also a short walk to the beach and PDC ‘strip’. It’s spacious, with 2 big bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, up-to-date smart tv with Netflix etc and a washing machine.

Noise from the street and the bar below was worse than we thought. Although, we were made aware and to a degree and I think this is reflected in the price, there were other issues. The worst of these was some black mould in the sky light in the en-suite, which smelled and the sticking of the front door, which needs planed back as currently it takes a deal of strength to open and close and makes a terrible noise when doin so. I think the views from the balcony aren’t great either and ought to be mentioned. Although it gets plenty of sun and you can see the sea in the distance, it overlooks a square and rooftops which are less than attractive, some would say grim.

Excellent location in old town short walk to harbour and 5 minute walk to the strip bars and restaurants all close by shopping centre 2 minutes walk. Owners very helpful and friendly . Would definitely stay there again.
