Two Bed Stylish Apartment in Heart of West End

The location was perfect; off the Byres Road and walkable to all my favourite parts of Glasgow. The apartment is a great space to hang out in.

Comfy bed, nice sofa and a great location.

The shower door had a broken seal so every time you shower the floor gets soaking wet. It doesn't sound like much but it's really annoying and worrying for the condition of the floor. Also, the washing machine would not finish its cycle, with it filling with water and then not unlocking the door. We had to drain the sump twice, which is not easy in an apartment, it was really annoying, and given it did it on the first wash one would think this was a known problem. The coffee table was really old and rickety, almost falling apart just whilst stood up. I did not have confidence to put anything on it.

This very comfortable and bright apartment is in a great location, looking out one way onto the constantly interesting and attractive Byres Road, and the other way over a very pretty communal garden. Even though it is in the heart of the West End, there's no noise problem as the double-glazed windows are great. The weather was a bit chilly while we were in Glasgow, but the flat was super comfortable as the heating is excellent and easy to control. The kitchen is really well equipped and there is a great choice of food shopping within two minutes. As well as dozens of interesting bars and restaurants. The beautiful Botanic Garden is very close by and the Subway station is directly opposite. I strongly recommend this place!

The house is wonderful - really nice accommodation, feels like you're staying in your cool Scottish friend's house. Beds are super comfortable, and the location is a big plus - you can walk to almost all Glasgow tourist attractions. And amazing restaurants in the area as well!

The shower is tricky - lets too much water out of the bathtub. The water heater in one of the bedrooms can also be a strange thing - but these are small details compared to the advantages you will have when stating here.

Great location - so handy for all the cafes, restaurants, shops in Byres Road, plus Oran Mhor and Botanic Gardens. Lovely comfy beds, good bath and shower and kitchen facilities. Good communication from owner.

The flat is lovely, such a great location just on the corner of Byers Road, super handy for the subway and lots of shops and restaurants. The flat is spacious, with plenty of storage and 4 adults were very comfortable here. The host was very quick to respond to any questions we had which was great. The kitchen is well equipped. Great powerful shower.

The front bedroom was very noisy all night, lots of road traffic, noise from people on the streets past mignight on Friday and Saturday night. Pedestrian crossing right outside the window didn’t help. Even with earplugs we struggled to sleep. There is no cheap parking at all nearby - £22 for 24hrs in Lilybank car park was the best we could do. Not the properties fault but a good thing to consider as we may have done without the car had we realised.

Comfortable and spacious, pictures were accurate. The location within Glasgow is excellent for the West End.

There are significant road works right outside of the flat meaning the main road is down to one lane, the street the property is on is closed with no vehicle access and there was significant roadworks noise from 8am. While this can’t be helped it could have been mentioned either before or after booking as it makes access for those with cars extremely difficult and the noise detracts from the flat as it is not normal city noise which would be expected.
