Two Bed Stylish Apartment in Heart of West End

Ideally located in the West End of Glasgow, property was roomy, bright, and very clean. Excellent communication with the owner

The mattresses were quite firm, maybe a foam mattress topper could help.

I didn't know they made mattresses that hard! Would have been a 100% review all round if the beds were more comfortable.

Location. Decor.

Required repair / upkeep. Missing door handle. Towel rail off the wall. Leaking shower screen. Front bedroom blind didn’t close. Table leg loose.

The washing machine was extremely helpful (and worked well) after 2.5 weeks on the road. Excellent location! So many cool restaurants, bars and shops in the area.

The beds are extremely hard (and I say that as someone who likes a firm mattress). Also, though the property owner was very friendly, they didn't quite seem to have the sense of urgency one might expect in this business. We had to press to receive resolution on a very important matter, though it did eventually get semi-resolved. The apartment is also very sparse; reminds me of the rentals you find in Miami - ex. small, rough towels (hope you like to exfoliate while drying 😂), limited toiletries (think travel size shower gel for two) for a multi-day stay, no washer detergent...that kinda thing. Just very basic, no real information (no instructions for the appliances, etc.) and not the cleanest. And like many others have said. It's loud. The front room is loud from street noise, and the back is loud from courtyard shenanigans - especially when the weather is nice. And with no AC, you're forced to open the windows for air so there's no escaping it. We'd not return on our next trip to Glasgow.

Very central location, within sight of Hillhead underground station. Really easy access, with detailed instructions. Bright, beautiful flat. Ideal for Glasgow University and Kelvingrove

Location was good although very noisy at night.

The property wasn’t clean - Bedroom hadn’t been vacuumed properly; skirting boards were filthy; cutlery not clean; kitchen cupboards dirty; sealant around bath was mouldy. Mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. Furniture and furnishings are all cheap and not of good quality. Looked much better in the photos than in reality.
