Sara Glen Motel - Saratoga Springs-Glens Falls

The management is welcoming, caring, attentive and excellent, the room pristine and the bed very comfortable; a great place to stay!

Comfortable and convenient.

It was expensive. The price did not match the value. For almost $200/night, you would expect there to be more amenities. No breakfast, no pool and the wi-fi was hit or miss

We can’t thank this motel and its staff enough for the care they showed our son during a very stressful journey. He was on his way back to university in Vermont after the holidays when his flight from Newark was cancelled, leaving him stranded and needing to make a last-minute, unfamiliar drive late at night in near-blizzard conditions. To add to the stress, it was his first time driving in the USA, having come from Australia and navigating the opposite side of the road. Realising he would arrive after reception had closed, he called ahead worried about being locked out. The person on reception reassured him that someone would be there to check him in and asked him to take his time and drive carefully. That reassurance alone made a huge difference. A special thank you to Sunny, who stayed up past midnight to warmly welcome him and even heat the room before he arrived. That kindness meant so much to him as he was extremely stressed—and to us, as we were flying back Australia and were very worried. This level of genuine hospitality truly goes beyond what you expect, and we are incredibly grateful. As for the motel itself, my son said it was very clean and comfortable, and if he is ever driving through Saratoga Springs again, this is where he will stay. We highly recommend this motel for its genuine care and exceptional hospitality.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The only slight drawback was the noise level of the HVAC fan, although the HVAC itself kept the room at a very comfortable temperature

Très bel accueil malgré l'heure tardive. Réponses à toutes nos questions sans aucun souci. Départ hyper facile.

Ce n'est pas que nous n'avons pas apprécié mais il y a plusieurs systèmes de chauffage auxquelles nous n'étions pas habitué. La première nuit (nous en avons passé 8) fut donc bruyante avec l'air-co qui se mettait régulièrement en route.

The room was nice. Nothing fancy, but well cared for. I felt safe as a solo traveler. It was the perfect place to stop on the way to see a friend in VT.

At night, there was the smell of cigarette smoke coming into the bathroom. The fan automatically comes on with the light, so I think my room just happened to be near a smoking area, and the smoke was coming inside. That didn't happen in the morning.
