atoll 'Paris-Alexandre'

The location was excellent. near to all shops and restaurants but not right in the busy centre. The view was breathtaking. There was a large supply of kitchen equipment as well as ironing equipment and a dustpan and brush. A kettle and things to entertain us such as board games. The taverna underneath the apartment was good and we got a discount. Best of all, nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the host and his staff. We were looked after like Royalty!

There were a lot of stairs, half of which went up the outside of the building. However people were always available if we needed to carry things. The bathroom lighting was poor. The kitchen area was a bit cramped without places to put things on.

The property was perfectly located to explore the Mani area, and being at the far end of the harbour meant it was a quieter location whilst still being within a very short walk of the shops etc. Dimitri has made sure that the apartment is very well equipped - it has absolutely everything you could need...and more; and we had not been expecting it to be cleaned and beds changed so that was a lovely surprise! The family restaurant downstairs serves excellent, traditional Greek food and we would recommend it highly - everyone made us feel so welcome and looked after us brilliantly. Thank you!

The light in the bathroom could have been a little brighter

Amazing Views, Beautiful People with free car parking! Dimitri is an AMAZING host with a welcoming warm and positive energy! If you need anything he will find out for you. The apartment has a breathtaking view of the sea with cold drinks in your fridge ready on arrival. Dimitri’s mum cooks all the traditional Greek meals and also fresh seafood from the family’s taverna below the apartment and it’s delicious! Highly recommend. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday by the sea! We will visit again.

The apartment has a few stairs however if I can do it with new double knee replacements any abled person can walk it!

Personal attention from the host. Dimitri (Jim) greeted us on arrival and showed us through the room. Excellent communication before, during and post the stay. A great view of the bay, light house and the part of the port from the room. It's more of an Airbnb and no breakfast was provided by the site. The location was easy to find, the room was exceptionally clean and linen/towels were changed after 4 days. Highly recommended for an extended stay in Gytheio
