It was indeed once a charming Manhattan-style apartment with a great view of Lion Head.

The condition of the apartment is tired. It once was surely a great place. The towels and bedcovers are disgusting (velvet pillow covers!), the bathroom needs a deep clean, the shower cabin needs a make-over, the excellent appliances in the kitchen don’t work any more. The whole place is run down and it feels as if they have stopped caring. I complained immediately and the response was simply: “sorry to hear that. I hope your stay will improve from here” instead of offering any solution. Very disappointing.

Amenities should be checked / maintained more often to assure quality stay for visitors .
