one room was quite smelly (smelled like chemicals), baths can be refurbished (broken sink), next to a gas station.

The apartment is big and spacious. It's full of light during the day. Especially if it's sunny. The view, even though it's obstructed by a large building in front, is very nice. The neighborhood is packed with cool cafes, bars, restaurants. I wich could visit more spots. There's a shopping center very close to the apartment with Spar and Woolworth offering all the goods you might need. The living room is cool with its loggia and designer furniture.

The apartment used to be premium once. One can see that the furniture, home appliances, interior decorations are expensive. But now it's looks not just outdated. It's worn-out. Cracks, abrasions, scratches are not something you'd like expect to see in an accommodation you pay 150$+ per night for. The windows were sooo dirty it looked like they hadn't been cleaned for ages. The larger bathroom had an unpleasant smell of sewage. We barely used it. The smaller bedroom also had a bad smell of something old and dusty. We didn't need it but still. In the evening we wanted to make the dining room more cozy but couldn't. Table led lamps did not work and did not charge. The floor lamp got a cold blueish light bulb. Luckily we found some led candles. The audibility was the worst. I could hear basically everything that people living upstairs were doing. Apparently, a child lives there, because every evening there was stomping and constantly falling objects, and the sounds began early in the morning and prevented sleep.

The shower are brilliant . It's very close to all the supermarkets.

There is a 2000Rand deposit required when we arrived and suppose to be refund it after check out. unfortunately I haven's receive it after 2 weeks .
