Beautiful location, fully equipped with everything you need. Very clean. Owners are not at all intrusive but friendly and welcoming and happy to help with anything. Very therapeutic watching the hens, ducks, sheeps and cows close by. On arrival fridge had milk and butter and some lovely biscuits. Would highly recommend.

Loved the facilities. Place was spotless and everything you need for a short stay is catered for. Loved the box of biscuits and fresh milk ready for a brew after a long journey.

Beautiful views, complemented by free range white ducks and chickens I learned included battery rescues. The property was spacious and very comfortable indeed, with excellent facilities for our short stay - indeed we'd like to have been able to stay for longer. It was a bonus that in a relatively remote area, there was wifi, Netflix available and perfectly adequately functioning water systems. The welcome information was simply lovely and our hosts had thoughtfully left milk and delicious biscuits, as well as logs for the fire. We felt very welcome and enjoyed meeting Claire.

I worried a little beforehand about finding the property and about the access roads, in case they were a bit rough or ropey but I can reassure anyone thinking about booking that we had no issues at all, going straight to it, following the directions in the information. Well worth a visit if you have the chance.

Exceptional cottage with fantastic views! Family of 6 with children and all of us had the best time. Beautifully clean, spacious and just overall fabulous! Thank you for a wonderful stay and for letting the children feed the lambs and hens, we can't wait to return!

What a gem in the Lake District! Honestly this place is beautiful inside and out! All the little touches that make for a wonderful stay. The hosts - Richard and Clare along with their son couldn’t do enough for us, even letting our children feed their new born lambs and chatting about tractors with my farming mad teenager! A big thank you and keep up the wonderful work!
