Charming Home W Huge Yard Near Bayoucity Park!

Location is great, under 15 min drive to the FQ; super quiet neighborhood; near City Park, grocery stores, Dooky Chase and other great restaurants. Very comfortable beds, nice towels and linens; perfectly clean; great backyard; kitchen stocked nicely (not food). Awesome experience. But property is for sale, so it might stop being available in the future.

Front blind was broken. Was stuck half up at 45 degrees when we arrived. I managed to detangle the cords and was able to fully drop it down. But the slats adjustment mechanism was broken and wouldn't tilt the slats all the way down, so at night you could see in. But neighborhood is so quiet, it wasn't a big concern. Just don't parade in front of it. The phone number listed on Booking.com's confirmation page went to voicemail when we arrived late and the combination for the door lock wasn't working. But once I found the correct phone number listed in the host's welcome email, they answered and immediately reset the lock combo and we got in just fine. The rental agreement is generic for all their managed properties. It said no pets allowed even though the booking said they were. This made me very nervous because we were taking our dog and I didn't catch it until it was too late to cancel or find other accommodations. So I emailed them to verify in writing that pets were allowed at no charge. They responded quickly and verified that pets were allowed at this listing with no charge, so we proceeded. They need to add a separate section to the agreements for those properties that have different rules than the generic ones. It's not OK to send out an agreement that contradicts the listing. I'm dropping my rating to 9 because of this.
