Franc Villa - Kothagiri

Great location in a quiet village surrounded by greenery. Ideal location for a very quiet weekend reading. The manager was as helpful as he could.

The room had no view at all and had a small window outside the bathroom (unlike the pictures posted on the listing). This is not a suitable place for solo traveler or a couple as they hire a cook only when there is a large group. The manager did his best to get dinner and breakfast parceled, but that is far from ideal. There was no milk available in the kitchen and also at the village store. Finally, I suggested milk powder which he luckily found at the store.

One of the best resort I have visited till now. The owners and housekeeping staff and cooks were really helpful and friendly. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. As soon as we come out of the resort, we just need to cross the road and there is a direct path leading to the main road and access to other tea estates and tea factories, Overall my experience was memorable and incredible..very clean and clear water, a very good place to relax and chill. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. we had a delicious meals cooked in house and very well served to us..
