The view from the restaurant was amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was of a good standard.

I would have loved to have seen a small curio shop selling locally made goods.

The general location is great because it's not right in the town centre, which we preferred, but the room itself had some noise out front with cars and people walking by, though it was quiet at night which suited us fine. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable - an excellent bed to be honest. There was a fridge which was useful for storing our items and they refilled water in the fridge everyday which was nice. The room was a good size. Breakfast was good overall - cereals, fruits, cooked breakfast and different days had alternating items so there was always something new. There were also alternative milks available.

Well the stay was enjoyable, it did not meet my expectations based on the cost of the room. Most issues are with the bathroom (we were in number 7) - a broken toilet seat hinge, a plastic shower caddy (instead of a proper metal one that doesn't look cheap) and the shower draining very slowly, made it feel like we over-spent. Also there was disappointedly little outside space to enjoy the view and spend time outside the room. There are only a few couches/chairs outside the dining hall, while the next balcony has lots of space but no seating. This may be due to rooms being there, but it felt like under-utilised space, and meant we couldn't enjoy a drink from the bar while sitting outside, as all seats were in use by other parties. The stay was comfortable, just under expectations (over-priced IMO). It also feels like the hotel is being simply maintained rather than actively taken forward and improved upon and has much more potential.
