Sonder Surf - Modern Apartment with Ocean View

Our few days there felt like a mini holiday, like we were in a different city. The apartment is in a great location, the decor is pinterest worthy, the caretaker of the complex was an absolute star, we couldn't fault the apartment or stay. Would definitely go back when we need time away to relax! Thank you for hosting us.

That we didn't stay longer! Commuting to the Southern Suburbs gets a bit too much unfortunately.

Close to the surf and train line. Many lovely places to eat and buy local artefacts. Helpful host. Safe place to visit.

It was clean and spacious. General location wrt the beach was ideal.

The pictures of the building's exterior were totally different from that seen on arrival. The actual apartment block is called imperial court, not SonderSurf Modern Apartments. It is a far cry from a modern apartment. The only similarities to the booking.com site were the pictures of the interior of the apartment. If I had arrived at night, I would not have been impressed based on what i saw. . Parking for your car although gated, was awkward and the space to manoeuvre was tough. You can not park your car in the available garage. Notwithstanding the appearance issues, the overall experience was satisfactory. One just had to get over the initial shock of the state of the building

What a great find right in the heart of Muizenberg. A lovely sea view from the balcony, well equipped kitchen, that made home cooking a pleasure. Loved the interior of this fun, modern retro flat. And the host was great at communicating. We were offered a late checkout, which was an added bonus. Thanks so much, Chase.
