Yellow House Hostel B&B

La calidez y amabilidad de todo el personal fue 1000/10. Todos siempre prestos a ayudar y compartir tips. El desayuno increíble y lo valoramos mucho, variado y muy contundente. Nos ayudaron gestionando shuttle para Lago Atitlan y tuvimos la opción de dejar equipaje por un par de días (de pago por uso de lockers privados, fue barato y nos ayudó a movernos de forma ligera). Excelente trato de todo el personal de recepción en cualquiera de los turnos y de las hermosas señoras que nos sirvieron el desayuno. Nos encantó todo!

La cama en si era muy cómoda y logramos descansar bien, pero la sentimos un poco alta para el tamaño de mi esposa jejeje, nada grave.

Loved the vibe of it! We had a private room which was nicely decorated and cleaned every day (although I wish there was an option to decline the room service sometimes). Breakfast was the BEST! Wish we could go back to get it again! Amazing staff working at the front desk - waited for us outside to arrive from the airport and booked our airport transfer cheaply. They also had tours to nearby villages and the volcano which were much more affordable than online - although we did not go on any.

Doors to the room are quite flimsy, no hairdryer in the room, no aircon:( it was really hot when we were there in May!

The staff were very accommodating and kind. During the day there are three different people who work at the front desk and understand english. You can even book tours with them or schedule a ride to the airport. The breakfast was PHENOMENAL. Eggs, bread, beans, ripe fruit, coffee, and another option that changed daily: pancakes, crepes, or omelette (those are the three that we got to see). The breakfast is for the most part the same, but it was really that good. There are two laundry locations nearby, we were able to get our clothes washed and delivered which was such a blessing after hiking the volcano! You get a great view of the volacano/clouds from the roof, which was really nice during the morning. There is also an area that is covered to hangout that they recently put up some string lights.

This wasn't a problem for us, but do be mindful that there are are potentially two flights of stairs depending on where your room is located. At the very least expect to climb one flight of stairs to go up to most of the rooms. Additionally it is very likely that you may experience somewhat weak wifi connection. It was a mild nuisance, but we had data.

Perfect, cute and cozy hostel! We loved the chill vibe and were lucky to stay in one of the new renovated rooms - it was so nice, aesthetically pleasing and the bed was super comfy 😍 also the breakfast is so nice and all of the stuff super friendly!

Gostei de tudo mas principalmente da limpeza e da gentileza da equipe! Eram todos muito simpáticos e solicitos!💖 Me senti muito segura como mulher viajando sozinha, e muito acolhida! Com certeza voltaria e me hospedaria mais dias por lá💗✨ Ah! Os banheiros eram constantemente limpos, eu até me impressionei😅
