The Barn at Hoods Croft

We liked the eco-friendly design with air source heat pump, underfloor heating and heat exchanger. It was lovely to have the wood-burner for chillier days. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment and basics (more than necessary for us as we made no attempt to cook our main meals.) Much thought had gone into supplying everything we needed. We loved its position on the edge of the common so all we had to do is walk out the door and start exploring. It was a bonus to be able to charge the car.

It was a bit warm up in the mezzanine bedroom and a thinner duvet might have helped.

Everything We regularly go stay cations with our dog and this is one the nicest places we have stayed. Immaculate and really well equipped.

My family and I stayed in The Coach House, but the hosts were exceptional and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. They were very accommodating and attentive, and the house was beautifully decorated and well looked after. The hosts considered every detail which made our stay so memorable!

Clean, tidy and good amenities. Fresh and smart. Well thought out.

The location was great, private and very quiet. Eddie was easily reachable with any questions we had, and they left us a lovely welcoming package for our arrival. The barn was in immaculate condition with lovely amenities and lots of natural light. We hope to come back again soon, what a gem.

It’s an amazing barn beautifully designed and everything you could wish for and amazing owners there to help if you need it

Everything was thought about, it was such a lovely clean space. Everything was perfect

I honestly can't fault it. Would highly recommend
