The Club at New Seabury

Close to the beach, close to a variety of restaurants, great spot!

The golf courses and pro shop staff were wonderful. The location would have been great if the Inn and the clubhouse pool would have been open. The cottage was right near the beach. This was at the end of May right before Memorial Day Weekend and nothing was open.

-Cottage was in desperate need of paint job -Noise from neighboring cottage was loud until 11 p.m. (no supervision in area - everything closed) - Sysco showed up at 5:30 a.m. at the inn across the road and woke me up. They were there for an hour unloading. - Then landscapers showed up at 7:10 and were there until I checked out at noon. NO SLEEP - Everyone waking me up to prepare for memorial day weekend

Place was clean and very quiet due to its seclusion from roads.

I telephone staff that I would likely arrive after 6 and I was arriving from Arizona, having to drive from Providence RI. I was told they would put my packet in the entry to the clubhouse. I had to ask how to find my cottage and all she said was that it was just across from the restaurant. No name of this restaurant and no further instructions. I arrived tired and found only a crude map telling me how to weave my way to my cottage. I was completely lost and running out of daylight. No staff anywhere to be found. After some struggle, and running out of daylight, I was fortunate enough to find a person taking a walk and she gave me directions to a restaurant. Being in an unfamiliar place, it was a bit nerve wracking. Also, the heating/cooling unit on the wall produced cold air, but not hot. The mornings were quite cold and no matter how long I left it on, no heat. And, no instructions on how to use the unit. Finally, I went to the office on my second day there and told them I had finished my business and would be leaving a day early. I asked if I would be charged for the last night I had booked even though I would be there, I was told yes. And, in fact, I was charged the full amount. Yet, a part of me understands they would have lost a night's rental on such short notice.

We loved the setting and location to use as a base to explore Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard The country club was great and the beach was beautiful

We had no issues with the accommodation as it fitted our needs perfectly but we were disappointed that neither of the pools were available in mid May as the weather was lovely and sunny during our stay
