The Crown Pub and Hotel

We had to eat in the bar, cold food runny eggs no hash browns which were on the menu. Room in itself was very nice but location overlooking the main road was very noisy especially at closing time when fighting broke out in the street below Very poor would not recommend

Lovely room, comfy bed and good shower

Faces the road which is quite noisy, room was also quite draughty.

Lively- good food- lovely outside seating

Breakfast for guests was only open at 9 and I needed an earlier slot as train to catch

The bed and bedding were extremely comfortable, and I had an excellent night's sleep.

The room is right on the road, the noise of the passing traffic a little of putting.

The room was spacious, well furnished, the shower was excellent and the towels fluffy. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Garden terrace has a lovely outlook.

There were no shelves in the shower for toiletries .

Absolutely love The Crown, amazing room for the money easily one of the nicest I've stayed in for a long time. Beds were really comfy, furniture is high quality and the staff are lovely nothing is too much trouble, highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fabulous room! Huge bed and had a big bath in the bathroom. Staff at pub were super friendly and a real pleasure to chat with. We had a really enjoyable day sitting on the terrace overlooking the river. Will definitely be back!

Road noise was noticeable, but understand that nothing much could be done about that. Location was otherwise amazing.

Because it is right by the pub, the noice was a bit loud. However, it was a Friday night and was quiet by 11pm
