The Crown Pub and Hotel

Great welcome from staff on arrival, Libby gave me quickly & efficiently all the information I needed. The room was well appointed & very comfortable. Plenty of tea & coffee.

Room was overlooking the High Street & therefore there was a lot of traffic noise.

Interesting place to stay. Mistly was a good little walk.

Had to leave before breakfast to catch our ferry...

The Stour room was lovely and the perfect place to relax

Quaint location, the hotel and pub backs onto the river front and it seems to be a real social hub for Manningtree. The double room we were in was spacious, tastefully decorated and the shower pressure was brilliant. No air conditioning (probably difficult to have it in an older building), but there was a fan already in the room. Breakfast can be purchased at a reduced price at the pub. The staff was welcoming and helpful. We used on street parking and that was easy enough to find on a Saturday/Sunday. Overall, lovely location for a 1 night stay!

The bed lamps could be fitted with warmer light bulbs, they were too bright too use.

The shower was so good and much needed during this heatwave. Amazing water pressure and lovely toiletries provided. The bottle of water in the room was a nice touch, plentiful tea / coffee selection and everything was spotlessly clean :)

Nothing - it was very hot in the room but there were two fans provided (and the hotel can’t control the weather!)
