BHost - Carihuela Beach

Good location and friendly staff

There was no balcony as advertised and the pool and garden were closed also, the main bedroom had mold on one off the walls

The apartment was nice, clean and well maintained. All the facilities were good. The correspondance from the host was very good.

The shutters on the outside of the building were quite noisy when it was windy. The pool only appeared to be open one of the days that we were there.

We liked everything, hosts were very obligingly, Appartment spotless with everything u needed ,Locaction just perfect ,we will be returning to this property ASAP.

Living room and main bedroom are spacious and the swimming pool was massive and very nice (but sunbed rental at the pool is 3 Euros). The apartment is 4 mins from the beach with shops and restaurants very very close. The railway station and central Torremelinos is a 12 mins walk up a slight hill. This is well located for Beach and Bars. A lot of Dutch stuff around the apartment.

On arrival I had messages from 2 different people about collecting keys. Then there was a back and forth about whether I could check in at 12pm or 3pm or 5pm...so we finally agreed on 3pm...then ended up getting the keys at 2pm. The beds weren't made (no sheets etc) and someone let themselves in at 5pm to make the beds, there were no towels or cleaning products or toiletries (but they are all listed as coming with the apartment) then when towels were finally delivered they were hand-towels so my companion and I were drying ourselves with tiny towels and had to pay for cleaning products and toiletries. The main bedroom is a great size with Aircon....the rest of the flat doesn't have aircon at all and the smaller bedroom is a converted balcony so the soundproofing is non-existent and you can hear the Dutch bar accross the street throughout the night so I didn't sleep well and the shutters don't work properly so you can't make it fully dark in there or shut out the noise.
