Uns hat die Unterkunft sehr gut gefallen. Sie ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sauber und es roch sehr angenehm als wir eingecheckt haben. Es gibt ausreichend Stauraum sowohl im Bad, als auch in der gesamten Wohnung. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Es gibt einen Mokka mit dem man jeden morgen einen leckeren Espresso zubereiten kann. Die Wohnung ist auf zwei Stockwerke aufgeteilt. Im EG befindet sich die Küche / Wohnbereich und das Badezimmer. Zudem gibt es einen Balkon. Im 1. Stockwerk befindet sich das Schlafzimmer inklusive eines zweiten Balkons, wo man jeden Morgen einen fantastischen Blick über den Comer See hat. Die Stufen in den ersten Stock sind etwas steil. Sollte man nicht sicher zu Fuß sein, könnte das ein Hinternis sein. Die Besitzerin hat uns frühzeitig kontaktiert und empfangen. Sie ist immer gut erreichbar gewesen und antwortete schnell. Ein paar Tipps für die Umgebung gab es auch. Parken konnte man an einem Platz ca 5 min zu Fuß entfernt.

Limonta ist ein süßes Örtchen, nah an dem touristischen Ort Bellagio (ca 5km entfernt) . Da die Wohnung auf einem Berg ist, ist ein Auto empfehlenswert. Das wäre der einzige Minuspunkt. Dieser ist für mich aber nicht wirklich ein Minuspunkt. Den Comer See empfehle ich generell mit dem Auto zu bereisen, bevorzugt mit einem Kleinwagen, da es doch viele Serpentinen um den Comer See gibt, die eng sind :-)

Die Wohnung an sich; sauber, aufgeräumt, gute Küchenzeile, ruhige Lage.

Das Bett könnte etwas bequemer sein und knackt manches Mal schon bei kleinen Bewegungen.

+ Hele vriendelijk gastvrouw, gaf namelijk een warm onthaal en gaf een goede tip voor een afgelegen zwemplek (gras) + Rustige buurt in idylisch stadje + Uitzicht op comomeer + Schoon + Parkeerplek in de buurt bij Piazza Ferreti

- Alleen aan te bevelen als je een auto tot je beschikking hebt, het is er erg steil en lopen langs de weg kan gevaarlijk zijn. Is 35 min lopen naar Bellagio. Wij deden het met de auto in 8 minuten (gratis parkeerplek) en dan nog 15 min lopen. - In Limonta zelf is verder geen eetgelegenheid/supermarkt Dit doet niet af aan dit leuke appartementje!

The location was lovely it gave us the real Italian way of life. It was very close to bellaggio.

A car is required for this property as although bellagio is near it is not walkable.

This must be admitted that appartment is located on a romantic place with a very nice view to Como lake. This can be enjoyed from a little balcony accessible from a bedroom. The whole appartment is after reconstruction and looks really very well, particularly kitchen and bathroom.

Unfortunately there are more items which we have reservations about. 1. even in June (weather was about 23-24 temperature outside) there was a noticeable cold, particularly in kitchen (on a lower floor, it is a very old stony house) 2. very poor accessibility of the appartment: you cannot imagine that you reach it with a car! It has a kitchen and probably you will prepare your breakfast there (Limonta does not offer such a services) - but transfer your baggage, including foods, from a car to the appartment means a demanding effort ascending to steep slope. We have no problem with making a lot of steps, but with baggage .... you can forget about finding the appartment with Google maps. The host knew that and that is why she preferred to wait for us. It was necessary to call her after coming there and she had to lead us on appropriate paths. 3. inappropriate blankets: I understand that a habit is a habit - so here they prefer french leveling. But!! If you have a relatively cold bedroom and you equip it just with a cover which is normally used not to cover people, but to cover bed during a day... it was VERY UNCOMFORTABLE TO SLEEP UNDER THAT! Moreover we had to dress up more than normally for sleeping. We cannot imagine to stay there in May or April (with outside temerature about 15-16 degrees). Appropriate to the type of house would be probably a duvet cover for sleeping. 4. parking place was about 250-300 m away from the appartment (I knew that thanks to my questioning before) and the height difference about 50 metres 5. the kitchen and bedroom are on two different floors, so going to a toilette during night means descending and ascending spiral staircase, on other side, if you wish to have a coffee on a balcony, you must to bring it to the upper floor (this is included in a description on booking.com). I cannot imagine handicapped people to stay here!! But I see the main problem the inner temperature and I wonder other people did not mention that.

Beautiful apartment in a fabulous location in Limonta. The place was clean and exactly as advertised. The host is lovely and available if needed. We had a great stay here.
