"Great rooms, good location, wonderful staff"

The rooms were excellent and very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very close to ullswater and other sites of interest in the area.

Waste water device in room was pretty noisy.

"Okay for one night stay."

Location was good for our needs-not far from M6. Breakfast adequate quality but lovely staff . Room decor modern and tastefully furnished. Good parking facilities.

The rest of the pub decor looks very tired. There are so many steps to negotiate to access room. Our room is small for price paid. Nowhere to put any toiletries down in bathroom.

Breakfast was good and having fresh milk for room. Evening meal was good value.

Room was cramped and toilet mechanism noisy. Lots of stairs/ steps to room.
