Location is Alright.

The Man At The Reception is the reason for this Rating. I list them below. 1. I asked him for the bike rental and he says that he either takes the passport or cash deposit of 7000 baht. "HE DOES NOT UNDERSTAND THE VALUE OF THE PASSPORT". He keeps the passport Lying around at the front desk in a box kept visible all throughout, close to the door. He tells me that they keep the passport as a deposit so that the customer does not take the bike and disappear. I asked him what in case somebody takes the box. He is trying to convince me that it is okay for the box lying around because "He would pay money as a compensation for a misplaced passport" In case. What???? 😡😡😠😡😠. He does not understand the process a person goes through in that event and thinks he can wash off his hands by paying the price of around 30 dollars for a misplaced passport. Anyhow, I was okay to deposit the money or the passport but the guy does not want me to test ride the bike. He is showing the new paint on the bike telling me that it is in good condition. One needs to check the sound of the engine and brakes to check the bike's condition. He would surely have not kept the 7000 baht lying around in a box on the front desk, however, he was casual about the passport. ***** Once, he was smoking weed indoors and the smell reached my private room causing coughs and discomfort. *** He was coughing too. He refused to rent the bike without the test ride. I refused to take without the test ride. I walked out and found a good bike with the test ride. Unprofessional. He lies down on a mattress along with his lady where the reception chair is supposed to be. *** Loud phone videos echoing*** He needs training or He needs To be Replaced.

All good, I liked the hostel.

We stayed for full moon party in private room however it has glass doors and only a very thin curtain so felt a little open at times but was ok. Bed was very big and comfortable and it is nearby a party hostel where you can use pool etc. close to beach and cheap restaurants.

Bathrooms were not very well maintained.

Did the job for what we needed as we were only staying for a couple nights for the full moon party. so if your going for that i would recommend just down the road from some places to pre drink and east to get a taxi down to the party and back

Property was clean and well furnished

Location was a bit rubbish, but unfortunately that’s the case for a lot of hostels on the island due to then all being along one long road. Wasn’t a far walk into town and was fine for getting taxis to Full Moon and Jungle Party
