"Not a great experience"

As you walk into the Alexander is was beautiful staff was friendly

We stayed in room 814 which is privately owned. The apt was runned down stove was cracked, damage to the walls, the balcony door was broken, the air conditioner sounded like it was on its last leg. We got into the room at 4pm and someone left the window open and there was condensation all over the walls, water all over the floors and because it was privately owned guest services couldn’t help us. I do not recommend staying here. You cannot take food or drink out by the pool.

"It was a poor value but overall fine trip."

Location was good, wasn’t too crowded

The unit itself wasn’t as described. We had quite a few issues such as A/C not working (we kept door open & used a fan), refrigerator not working (lost quite a bit of food, this never got fixed) , facilities not being as described (pool areas run down) Staff were generally nice and helpful. Shop in downstairs was very convenient.

The beach was right across the hotel which made it easier for us to visit and I love how there’s security in the area. Will be booking again the Alexander.

"Really disappointed in our stay . Location was good . Massively overpriced"

Location

Apartment didn’t feel very clean Not equipped properly ( 3 wine glasses 4 mugs 4 dining room chairs ) however was booked for 7 people . No toilet paper Door didn’t lock when we left the apartment first night Said there was a washing machine tumble dryer this isn’t in the apartment it’s in the complex You can’t drink your own drinks even water or eat your own snacks in pool area . Bar was incredibly expensive .

"Really not satisfied with the way this turned out"

After staying there for five days, not much that I really liked about this property

There was no heating in the unit. The temperature in Miami Beach dropped down to 45° at night and it was freezing. The blankets were summer blankets. There was no way to stay warm. The freezer in the unit didn’t work only the refrigerator worked. We had bought ice cream for the kids and threw it all in the garbage pail.
