Rasta House,,Koh Phayam

I loved my little bungalow on stilts at the Rasta House. The room has all the basics that you need like a mosquito net, toilet, shower and wash basin. there is also a fan that is great to cool you down. Great balcony with a hammock and chairs that you can chill out on and invite friends onto for a sundowner beer.

Wonderful place right in nature, surrounded by the islands tropical wild life such as hornbills & geckos, close to the beach, accommodation was basic as expected but all one needs on an island, bungalow terrace is nice and shady during day time, laundry service available & the staff was very welcoming

Unfortunately the mattress in bungalow 5 was very hard & the WiFi doesn’t reach to the bungalows During off-season also very quiet, not social, depending what you’re looking for & further away from restaurants etc (need a scooter)

The location is great. The cost is good. typical bungalow

there was no hammock. And the main common space was used only by the owners. it wasn't forbidden but they were not very happy to have you around.

friendly staff and easy going

cleanliness was subpar, cockroaches seen around the hut and got bed bugs bites.
